Raj Goyal (Akshaye Khanna), a successful criminal lawyer, is introduced to popular singer, Sargam (Urmila Matondkar) by music magnate, Ashwin (Vijayendra Ghatge). The following day, Ashwin is brutally murdered in his own house, and Sargam's childhood friend and mentor, Taran (Ajay Devgn), is the prime suspect. Sargam approaches Raj to fight for Taran in court, and Raj takes the case realising that Taran suffers from a multiple personality disorder. But is all that meets the eye true, or is there more to this saga?
